Damien, in English one would say, "Down's syndrome" as opposed to "trisomic".

Well, maybe some of the ignorant still only call it Down's Syndrome, but I happen to know several physicians and nurses who refer to it as 'trisomic,' or 'trisomy 21.'

Besides, 'Down's Syndrome' has none of the musicality of 'trisomic.'

Damien, I think your haiku came out very well.
