the smile of a small
trisomic girl

vent de printemps -
le sourire d'une petite
trisomique

Wild Widow said...: Well, maybe some of the ignorant still only call it Down's Syndrome, but I happen to know several physicians and nurses who refer to it as 'trisomic,' or 'trisomy 21.'

Besides, 'Down's Syndrome' has none of the musicality of 'trisomic.'
